Executive Director for HRC

The University of Dayton seeks a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the inaugural Executive Director of the University’s Human Rights Center (HRC). This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative and innovative leader to advance an interdisciplinary center that represents a major priority for the University. Position begins July 1, 2016.

The Executive Director may be appointed at a tenured faculty rank (associate or full professor) contingent on qualifications that meet the College of Arts and Sciences criteria for tenure and promotion. These expectations include demonstrated achievement as a teacher, sustained record of professional activity and service to the field of human rights, broadly defined. Additionally, the Executive Director seeking a tenured faculty appointment will need to meet the tenure and promotion criteria of the academic department most relevant to his or her scholarship and advocacy.
