HHH student Stoscheck speaking Feb 19 on Sustainable Agriculture in India

WUSA: What’s Up in Sustainable Agriculture and the Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture Present:

Food System Sovereignty Work in India
Claire Stoscheck, Graduate Student in Humphrey School of Public Affairs, Minor in Sustainable Agriculture 


During the summer of 2015 Claire interned at the Navdanya Biodiversity Conservation Farm near Dehradun, India. Navdanya was founded by world-renowned author and advocate, Vandana Shiva. Claire will share her insights on Navdanya's impressive food sovereignty and sustainable agriculture work, including their seed bank, rural extension, community economic development, and disaster relief work.

Friday February 19th at 1:00pm in 306 Borlaug Hall
