Wednesday--Domestic Violence in Lebanon: A Law Enforcement Perspective

Domestic violence is one of the most prevalent acts of discrimination against women which in most cases result in the collapse of the society core cell "The Family". The presentation will address the issue of domestic violence in Lebanon from a legal perspective within the context of the recently established law "Protection of women and family members from domestic violence". It will also shed a light on procedures taken by law enforcement in facing this type of crimes.
