HHH Prof. Assaad & former Carnegie Scholar Lassassi on "Analyzing Trends in Female Labor Force Participation in the Middle East & North Africa."

Humphrey Prof. Ragui Assaad participated in the 22nd Annual Conference of the Economic Research Forum in Cairo where he gave a plenary presentation on the Economic Research Forum's work on Middle East and North Africa labor markets since its inception.  He also participated in the organization's board of trustees meeting and co-organized a pre-conference workshop on Employment and Unemployment in Tunisia.

Moundir Lassassi, former Carnegie Centennial Fellow at the Humphrey School (2015), presented a paper co-authored with Prof. Assaad and others at the same conference on "Where has all the Education Gone:  Analyzing Trends in Female Labor Force Participation in the Middle East and North Africa."
