Eight HHH students awarded Stassen Travel Grants

Congratulations to the following MDP, MPP and MURP students on being awarded a 2016 Stassen International Summer Travel Fellowship:

Master of Urban and Regional Planning candidate Allen Young for summer internship with the Pudong Planning Agency, China.

Master of Development candidates Sean Hadorn and Katelynn Sobraske and Master of Public Policy candidate Elise Holmes for summer field experience project with the Floating Doctors, Panama.

Master of Development candidates Johanna Tatlow and Moses Waiswa for summer field experience with the International Center for Policy and Conflict, Kenya.

Master of Development candidates Lillian Osborne and Maria C. Villarraga for summer field experience project with Rainforest International, Guatemala.

The Stassen International Grants were established by former Dean Ed Schuh to encourage students to do internships, field experiences, professional paper or capstone research in the fields of international affairs, international development, or any of the specializations listed under the Humphrey School’s global public policy concentration in the United States or abroad. Students in all HHH degree programs are encouraged to apply. In 2016, the Stassen International Grant funds came from the Office of the Dean, Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
