Washington Office on Latin America Project Assist

The Washington Office on Latin America, a non-governmental organization working to promote human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean, is seeking motivated individuals to fill the position of Operations Assistant to provide administrative support for the main functions of the organization.

Applicants should have an interest in project management and non-profit administration, alongside being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about the work of the organization and human rights more broadly. Main responsibilities include maintaining good financial systems in support of the organization, support the Director of Finance and Operations with human resource responsibilities, ensure smooth operations in the office, and lead in managing technology needs within the office. Qualifications include an associates degree or higher with at least two years of relevant experience; experience in managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines; proficiency in office processes, such as bookkeeping, troubleshooting technology, and software (particularly Quickbooks and Excel); and demonstrated attention to detail and administrative organization. Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is also required.
