The Acara Challenge!!!!

The Acara Challenge (http://environment.umn.edu/leadership/acara/competitions/acara-challenge/) is a competition for students with ideas for financially sustainable social ventures that address social and environmental challenges. Students receive intensive training and mentoring to learn how to best pitch their ideas at the competition, then compete for up to $500 in competition prizes and $5,000 in fellowship funding. Applications are accepted from graduate and undergraduate students from all majors and in all stages of project development.

Acara Study Abroad Opportunities

Come join us to learn more about the study abroad opportunities that Acara has to offer during the May 2017 term! There will be two three week courses focused on sustainable development, one in India and one in Nicaragua, running from May 15 - June 5. These seminars are open to upper level undergraduate students and graduate students and address sustainable development and impact in each country. Hope to see you at the information session!
