Tuesday, Dec 6: Talk & Tour at EOS International

Date:
Tuesday, December 6, 2016 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Join MINN for a Talk and Tour of EOS International to get an in-depth look at the organization in a small group setting. The agenda includes an overview of the organization by Wes Meier, Co-Founder & CEO, and a private tour of their space at Impact Hub. Nicaraguan Country Director, Alvaro Rodriguez, will also be in attendance and can answer questions.
EOS (Emerging Opportunities for Sustainability) International was founded with a simple mission: bring life-changing technology to the developing world, improving health, wealth, and the environment. EOS began with a handful of bright and compassionate Iowa State University engineering students who wanted to use their skills to give back to the world. Both EOS’ mission and team have grown to meet the need. EOS now employs seven staff members in Nicaragua, a CEO and Director of Development in the US, has an active Board, and a team of volunteers with backgrounds in engineering, finance, marketing, and communications. This talented team continues to develop and refine technologies that are making an impact throughout Nicaragua.
This Talk and Tour will be hosted at Impact Hub
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY
There will be a networking opportunity following the Talk and Tour at Modist Brewing Co. starting at 7:30 pm. The Modist event is open to all who would like to network with the MINN community and EOS International staff!
