Former Humphrey Fellow Alan Kyerematen New Trade Minister, Ghana



Former Humphrey Fellow (1987 alumnus), Alan Kyerematen, has been appointed Minister of Trade in Ghana. Mr. Kyerematen is an experienced Ghanaian politician who has served in many roles such as Ambassador to the United States and later Minister of Trade, Industry, Private Sector Development (PSD) and the Presidential Special Initiatives (PSI), among others. He also worked with the UNDP as the first Regional Director of Enterprise Africa, which was an Africa-wide, flagship initiative for the development and promotion of small and medium enterprises, establishing enterprise support institutions and programs in 13 Sub-Saharan Africa countries.
