Apps due Mar 20 for UMN exchange with Peking University

The China Center is currently accepting applications for the Chinese University Exchange Program (CUEP). Students interested in studying for one academic year at Peking University, a top school in China, should consider applying. Students can learn more about this program by visiting our website. Applications are due March 20.


The application deadline for the CUEP program has been extended to Monday, March 20 (4:00pm). In additional to the one academic year program track, the China Center is now offering a semester option if students wish to attend Peking University during Fall 2017 or Spring 2018.

Program Duration
Academic year: September 2017 - June 2018
Semester: Fall 2017 or Spring 2018

Cost
Students pay University of Minnesota tuition to participate. An estimate of the total cost of participation can be found here. This cost (UMN tuition) covers tuition, room and board and student fees at Peking University. Students are provided a modest monthly stipend by Peking University to cover living expenses.

Classes
Attached are two documents that provide more information about the type of Chinese language classes and English taught classes that students can enroll in during the 2017 - 2018 academic year at Peking University.

Students receive transfer credit for participating in this program and are encouraged to speak with their academic advisers to see if these credits can cover credit requirements for their majors.
