Mar 20 Achieving Sustainability in Minnesota and the World: A Science-Policy Dialogue

 Leaders from Minnesota and around the world will discuss policies and strategies drawn from different world regions that are effective in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The panel will specifically highlight strategies, and identify key challenges and areas where science-policy dialogue is critical to achieving the SDGs with a focus on natural resource management, economy and human wellbeing.

The discussions will offer new insights into decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation while enhancing human well-being, including through the lens of state and city sustainability actions to address water, energy, climate, health and wellbeing priorities. This is a public event co-hosted by the Center For Science Technology and Envrionmental
Policy
and the United Nations Environment International Resource Panel, which brings together science policy experts from across the world.
