Study Human Rights in Palestine-Israel

In academic year 2017-2018, Prof. James Ron will accompany a group of students to the Palestine-Israel region to meet and learn from local academics, civil society leaders, politicians, and others. The trip will begin on December 28, 2017, and end on January 13, 2018. Precise travel details are still being worked out. Participants are graduate students plus a small number of advanced undergraduates. All political, disciplinary, and philosophical perspectives are welcome.Instructor permission to enroll is required.

This course is offered by the University of Minnesota’s Master’s of Human Rights program, and is not offered in partnership with any other institution.  The faculty team will include Humphrey School's Prof. Greta Friedemann-S├ínchez.  

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, until all available spots are filled. At that point, we will create a waiting list. As of April 11, 2017, we had approved 14 applications from students in the US and Canada.
