Dear Eric Schwartz has a distinguished record of service in the government both in the legislative and executive branches, in international organizations, and more recently in academia as Dean of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota since November of 2011. He will shortly be returning to Washington, D.C. to continue his career-long emphasis on human rights and humanitarian concerns as president of Refugees International, an independent advocacy organization based in Washington D.C. that focuses on the protection of refugees. We are privileged to have Dean Schwartz with us in his last few days in Minnesota.

Our luncheon charge is $30 to cover food and our modest organizational expenses. Students are welcome at a reduced price of $15.
