May 6: Red Rice, Schools & Hope Photographic Exhibit

Please join us for the opening reception of "Red Rice, Schools and Hope Exhibit." Saturday, May 6th. 12noon to 3pm. 2001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411

This exhibit is a collection of images from Sierra Leone showing the beauty and challenges of building a sustainable model of preschool and ecological program in village communities.

This exhibit is a collaboration between The Robert J. Jones Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center-UROC Gallery, Twin-Cities based non-profit, Sierra Leone Foundation for New Democracy (SLFND), and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD).

You are all welcome to come with children and share the space.
Come for the beautiful photos. Stay for the stories. Leave with hope.

The opening includes a free modest Sierra Leonean meal and a marketplace where photos and cards will be available for purchase.
