Mandela Washington Fellows arrive at University of Minnesota

Please join the Center for Integrative Leadership in welcoming the Mandela Washington Fellows!

The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is the flagship program of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) which empowers young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking opportunities. This is our 4th year of hosting this prestigious program.

The 2017 cohort of fellows arrived over the weekend and this is their first day at the Humphrey School. We welcome 25 fellows from 18 different countries! Their bios are here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99ebkG0WZZQOXVxaHc5eWs1ZWY0ZW9JRzk0S0dSRmdYc1E4/view?usp=sharing) for your reference. We appreciate your welcoming them and please let us know if you'd like to engage further with this talented group of young professionals.
