Graduate Student workshop meeting and pizza! (Thu, 9/14, 4pm)

The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies (CHGS) and the Human Rights Program (HRP), are organizing an upcoming event next September 14th.

"If you are interested in issues related to mass violence and genocide come join us next Thursday, September 14 at 4pm in #614 Social Sciences for an informational meeting about the Holocaust, Genocide, and Mass Violence (HGMV) Interdisciplinary Graduate Group. The HGMV group is broadly defined to include peace and conflict studies, human rights, nationalism and ethnic violence, representations of violence and trauma, conflict resolution, transitional justice, historical consciousness, and collective memory.

We will introduce the group, provide information about funding and professional development opportunities offered through HGMV, and enjoy some pizza! To get a headcount, we are asking people to let us know if they plan to come on this webform RSVP.

We encourage all who might be interested to come, learn, and eat. Our workshop series calendar is available on the CHGS website.

Please feel free to share with others who might be interested. Thank you for your help in spreading the word! We are hoping to reach and engage a broad graduate student audience, and faculty are always welcome as well! The more the merrier!"
