Study Social Change in Israel & Palestine: Field Visit, Winter 2017-18

In academic year 2017-2018, Prof. James Ron will accompany a group of students to Israel and Palestine to meet and learn from local academics, civil society leaders, government officials, politicians, and others. The trip will begin on the evening of December 27, 2017, and end on January 13, 2018. The precise itinerary is still being worked out, but will include overnight stays in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ramallah, and Bethlehem, as well as visits to other villages and towns in the West Bank and Jordan Valley.

Most participants will be graduate students, with a small number of advanced undergraduates. Students may be studying at any accredited educational institution, anywhere in the world. All political, disciplinary, and philosophical perspectives are welcome. There are a limited number of spaces available for this trip, and instructor permission is required.

Application Instructions and additional information is available on the course website
