Freeman Seminar: Understanding Minneapolis Headquarters Economy: Managers, Mobility, and Migration
September 12, 2017 12:45-2:00
The Stassen Room 170, Humphrey School of Public Affairs

Myles Shaver, Professor and Pond Family Chair in the Teaching and Advancement of Free Enterprise Principles
Carlson School of Management

Professor Shaver will share insights from his ongoing research project, based on survey data from professional managerial employees at over 20 headquartered companies in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region. The survey data provide novel information about this talent base, its mobility among regional companies, and migration to and from the region. In turn, this information suggests important implications for regional policymakers and business leaders.
