Spring 2018 Opportunity to Study at Peking University

The China Center is currently accepting applications for the Chinese Universities Exchange Program (CUEP) for Spring 2018. The CUEP program is typically an academic year program but for this upcoming Spring 2018 semester the China Center will be able to support one student who is interested in a semester program.

Course Offerings
In addition to the opportunity to enroll in Chinese language courses, CUEP program participants can enroll in English taught classes on campus.

Students participating in this program will receive transfer credit for their semester at Peking University. Some University of Minnesota departments may allow students to transfer credits from classes taken at Peking University to cover major (or liberal education) requirements. Please meet with your academic adviser to discuss this possibility.

Program Fee
Students participating in this program will pay University of Minnesota tuition to participate. The cost is estimated at approximately $7,000 per semester, which covers resident tuition, dormitory housing, and student services fees while abroad. Students are also provided a modest living stipend while on program. An estimated cost of participation can be found here.

Learn more about the CUEP program by visiting our website. Please email Pashoua Vang if you have questions or would like to schedule a meeting.
