Dec. 5 - Freeman Seminar: Nuclear Weapons & Foreign Policy

How would Iran behave if it acquired nuclear weapons? How do North Korea's nuclear weapons influence its foreign policy today? Looking ahead, if U.S. allies such as South Korea or Japan were to acquire nuclear weapons, how would their foreign policy toward the United States change?

Professor Mark Bell will offer a framework for thinking about how nuclear weapons affect the foreign policies of the states that possess them , with significant implications for international security and U.S. nonproliferation policy.
