The Career Development Center at Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA), in Buenos Aires, Argentina works in active interaction with students and alumni, with employers, faculty, colleagues and administrators and with a genuine commitment to create innovative partnerships and collaborations. Laura Bidegain will share the approach and initiatives the Career Development Center has implemented to bring value and inspiration in helping students and alumni figure out life and work, including:

- A focus on relationships

- Working with affinities

- Activities the team has implemented to reach students and alumni.

- Out-of-the-box activities with employers

- The use of social media to break barriers and build relationships

- Lessons learned and challenges ahead

Laura Bidegain is a Visiting Scholar at the CEHD, working on the design of a comprehensive career development component that provides students with self-reflection opportunities and intentional exploration, as well as new venues to engage meaningfully in life and work. She leads career development efforts at the Career Development and Alumni Center at Universidad de San Andrés (a private university in Buenos Aires, Argentina, www.udesa.edu.ar with an enrollment of 1058 undergraduate students and 1000 graduate students). She has experience in career development, admissions, and student affairs and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development from Eastern Michigan University.
