Humphrey School hosting Wash DC alumni reception with Mandela Fellows, Aug 3 (RSVP)

Dear Humphrey Alumni,

Greetings and happy summer to you all. We are writing because we will be in DC at the beginning of August and we'd love to see you!

You are invited to join the Humphrey School of Public Affairs on Monday, August 3 from 5–7 p.m. for an informal reception to connect with fellow Humphrey School graduates and meet the 25 remarkable Mandela Washington Fellows of the Young African Leaders Initiative who will have spent the past 6 weeks with us at the Center for Integrative Leadership at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs studying public management and exploring the Minneapolis-St. Paul public affairs community.

The Fellows will be in Washington, DC for a culminating Young African Leaders Summit hosted by the White House and the State Department. While we're there we would welcome the opportunity to see you and introduce you to our new colleagues from countries across Africa.
We know the Fellows are excited to meet Humphrey alumni and build a stronger long-term connection with the School. For those of you who were able to join us last year at this reception, our alumni and Fellows both had wonderful experiences and connections with one another.

RSVP by Monday, July 27.

Light appetizers and refreshments will be served.

We look forward to seeing you on August 3!
