Salary: £44,500 per annum (more for an exceptional candidate), plus excellent benefits
Based: London
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the implementation of Alert’s engagement in the South Caucasus, developing and updating Alert’s peacebuilding strategy in the region and ensuring the necessary systems are in place for high quality output and compliance. You will manage a well-established team of project managers, a varied portfolio of projects worth approximately £2m a year and maintain our reputation for quality strategic peacebuilding work in the region. You will ensure the sustainability and growth of the programme through new ideas and funding.
You will have a talent for managing a mixed and challenging portfolio of projects whilst being entrepreneurial in developing new ideas and concepts. Strong leadership of a well-established team with differing needs for support will also be critical, as well as the ability to build trust and maintain relationships with partners, donors and key contacts in the region.
With five years’ experience of project management in an international environment, you will be educated with a higher degree in a relevant subject and have extensive experience of project implementation in conflict contexts, including dialogue processes and experience in all aspects of grant management.
