Join UMN Peace Corps Celebration Feb 27 at St. Paul Student Center

ou may have heard last week Peace Corps announced that University of Minnesota currently has 59 alumni serving abroad as Peace Corps Volunteers, making the U the third largest producer of Peace Corps Volunteers in 2015. Thank you for all you help in making that happen!

To celebrate the U's interest in promoting world peace and friendship and to acknowledge U of M students getting ready to depart for Peace Corps, we are hosting a Peace Corps Celebration this Saturday (2/27) from 2-5 PM in the North Star Ballroom at the St. Paul Student Center (2017 Buford Ave. St. Paul). Everyone is invited to attend this event. We would love to have you join!

We would also appreciate if you could pass the attached invitation along to anyone (they do not need to be connected to the U) you know who...: invited to serve in Peace Corps, considering Peace Corps,
...wants to learn more about Peace Corps,
...wants to support those who are departing for Peace Corps,
...enjoyed their study abroad experience, interested in traveling, learning a new language, and serving others, looking for a new career path or job after graduation, or
