Prof. Lan Wu visiting scholar at Humphrey School, 2016-17

Lan Wu is Associate Professor of Traffic Engineering, College of Auto and Traffic Engineering, Nanjing Forestry University. Prof. Wu received an Engineering from National University of Singapore and a Ph.D. in Traffic Engineering from Southeast University.

Her current research focuses on public transit flow forecasting applying of advanced computational techniques in transportation systems (techniques include artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, VI). She also use traffic simulation models and GIS in the modeling of transportation systems and traffic operations (software tools include AIMSUN, VISSIM, ArcGIS, TransCAD, Synchro). Prof. Wu has published many international refereed journal papers. She is a reviewer for some international Journals, and also the member of Nanjing Science and Technology Association.

She is working at Humphrey School as an international visiting scholar during 2016-2017 academic year and her faculty mentor is Professor Yingling Fan.
