Ryan Allen, Associate Professor and Director of the Urban and Regional
Planning program at the Humphrey School, traveled to China for 10 days
in June. Allen delivered seminars at Tongji University, Beijing Normal
University and Tsinghua University, and met with key faculty leaders at
each university to learn more about common research interests and
potential collaborations between the universities and the Humphrey
School. He also found time to tour the Great Wall, the Forbidden City Palace Museum,
the Shanghai Urban Planning Museum, and a world famous "hot pot"
restaurant (with Associate Professor Jason Cao as his culinary tour
guide).
