Dr. Mishra’s 20 year career includes serving in United Nations Missions, working as Assistant Inspector General of the State Police in the Central Region (Madhya Pradesh) in India, and currently as the Executive Director, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. He is a former scholar with the George Mason Terrorism, Transnational Crime and Corruption Center (TraCC). He is the author of several books, among them “Combating Human Trafficking: Gaps in Policy and Law” and “Human Trafficking: The Stakeholders’ Perspective. He was a 2012-13 Humphrey International Fellow at the University of Minnesota.
