Papers sought for 2016 Minnesota Political Science Association annual conference

The 2016 Minnesota Political Science Association (MNPSA) annual conference will be hosted by the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN on Saturday, November 12, 2016.

We invite you to consider presenting as part of either panel 1 or 3 listed below. Panel 2 presenters have already been finalized. Presentations are 10-15 minutes, and no formal paper is required. We welcome presentations on any topic related to the panel themes below. We usually have 3-4 presenters on each panel. If interested, please e-mail a title and brief description of your presentation to Dr. Arijit Mazumdar, University of St. Thomas ( Proposal deadline: Friday, October 7.

Panel 1: International Relations and Comparative Politics
Panel 2: The 2016 Elections: US and Minnesota (panelists finalized)
Panel 3: Teaching & Learning and Professional Development in Political Science

If you would like to serve as Chair of panel 1, please contact Dr. Arijit Mazumdar, University of St. Thomas ( by Friday, October 7.

If you plan to attend, please complete the sheet titled “registration form” and enclose with your checks payable to MNPSA - $25 for students, $35 for all others, and send to address provided in the registration form. Please indicate on the registration form if you prefer a vegetarian or gluten-free lunch option or have any food allergies. Registration deadline: Friday, October 21.

If you have any students interested in poster presentation, have them send their proposals directly to Dr. Angela High-Pippert, University of St. Thomas ( Poster session proposal deadline: Friday, October 21.
