Red Pockets Scholarship apps due Oct 14 for winter term China projects

The Red Pockets Scholarship, or China Center Scholarship Fund, was created in 2004 thanks to the generous donations from the China Center’s annual fund drive in honor of its 25th anniversary. In Chinese traditional culture, a red pocket is a monetary gift which is given during holidays or special occasions.

The scholarship will be used for the payment, partially or totally, of travel or tuition. Awards are between $500 and $1,000.
