Dear HHH students,
As the registration day is
approaching, I hope you would consider the new study abroad course I
will offer in May 14-26, 2017. I have lined up all the site visits,
guest lectures, and hosting universities for the course. The latest
draft syllabus is here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99ebkG0WZZQMWV1TGZRMUpSS2dSamZrUXRjcWhhemNhbE9n/view?usp=sharing,which include detailed information on site
visits and scheduled guest lectures.
It is a 3-credit course. There is no tuition charge. The set price for this 2-week program is $1870, which include:
- all domestic transportation in and between the five Chinese cities,
- all breakfast and lunch meals, and
- all hotel accommodations in the five cities.
The out of pocket costs to the students are dinners and the roundtrip airfare to China.
I
think it will be a great experience for those of you interested in
global urban planning practices. The co-instructor is Sherry Gray. Please freely let us know if you have any questions
about the course.
Best,
