Humphrey School to Host Model UN High School Conference
The fall Model United Nations High School State Conference will meet at the Humphrey School on Tuesday, November 8. Some 500 students in grades 7-12 will participate in classroom and simulation activities on the topics of universal access to water, and youth employment. As delegates representing countries from the UN's 193 member states, they will simulate the United Nations General Assembly in debating, drafting, and passing resolutions while working together to solve these pressing world issues.
The event is sponsored by the International Fellows and Scholars Program. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Andrea Klein Bergman at andreab@unamn.org or Pepe Wonosikou in IFS.
