Humphrey School Represented at COP22 in Morocco

STEP Professor Gabe Chan, STEP students Jill Rook, Aaron Hanson, Halston Sleets, Brianna Denk, and Peder Garnaas-Halvorsen, along with MN Rep. Melissa Hortman, UMN Energy Transition Lab Exec. Director Ellen Anderson, and two other UMN students, are in Marrakech, Morocco, attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Marrakech, Morocco this week (COP 22).

Chan and graduate research assistant teams wrote two issue briefs ahead of the visit, which they are sharing with key decision makers and stakeholders at the talks. Chan and students will share their reflections on the convention in a STEP-FAR (Feedback and Research) Seminar on November 28.
