2015-16 Humphrey Fellow alum Juan Camilo
Molina Bolívar spoke at the “Role of Parliamentarians and Public in
Strengthening Accountability in Development Cooperation: Key Steps to Move Forward” a DCF Side Event on the margin of the Second High-level Meeting of the Global
Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC) organized by UNDESA, IPU and AWEPA in Nairobi,
Kenya last month. The Second High Level Meeting aims to amplify the positive
impact of development co-operation over the next 15 years. Juan Camilo participated
in the CSO and Official meetings and presented the Latin American review about
development cooperation.
He has also written “A Debate on the
Ecuadorian Civil Society Organization’s Role to Support Development
Effectiveness and Democracy in an Emergency Context,” a chapter of Delivering
CSO Evidence: Global Launch of 2016 CPDE Report (Molina, C., López, P.,
Celi, C., Pazmiño, M).
Mr. Juan Camilo Molina is
Coordinator of CSO Observatory of Development Cooperation, Professor at UTE-Ecuador, and was a Humphrey
International Fellow at the Humphrey School in 2015-16.
