Welcome to the 3rd Conference on Management and Sustainability in Asia, to be held in Fukuoka, Japan from Sunday, March 26 to Monday March 27, 2017. COMSA 2017 is an international conference aimed at providing a platform for academics, researchers and students to gather in a peaceful to engage, learn and share ideas ranging from corporate social responsibility and the triple bottom line to sustainable business practices, economic development and sustainable livelihoods in developing nations.
Today’s rapidly globalizing world has spawned dynamic changes from rising affluence and urban migration to heavy demands put on our finite resources and the environment. The breakneck pace of development and consumption of modern society is an unsustainable course that threatens our ecosystem and future.
With the theme of Management and Sustainability in a Globalized World, Fukuoka is an ideal venue site for COMSA 2017 since it was once again rated as one of Asia’s greenest and most sustainable cities as well as the 7th most liveable city in the world according to Monocle Magazine.
