Come hear our panelists discuss best practices for intercultural training and
support for adolescents and young adults from overseas coming to the US on
INBOUND exchange programs:
Designing intercultural training geared for high school students and their host
families
Addressing cultural adaptation support issues most common with high school
students
Inbound Exchange Students: Comparing high school vs. higher education
Understanding issues with US visas: J-1 versus F-1 visa
PANELISTS: Carolyn Rehn (AFS), Barbara Telser-Gedo (AFS),
Desiree Guida (St. Paul Preparatory School), and
Janel Cook (Nacel Open Door)
Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of each month
Meeting is from 7:30 to 9:00 pm with light refreshments and socializing from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m.
