MDP students Arce Martinez & Warsame participate in 2017 Global Health Case Competition

Today 14 student teams from the University of Minnesota are receiving the 2017 Global Health Case. MDP students Amal Warsame and Adriana Arce Martinez are part of team #5. Teams have until 7:30 am Saturday, January 28 to prepare a written response to a panel of experts.  Twelve minute presentations to the panel will be held throughout the day Saturday and the public will be invited to the final category presentations.
The U of M Global Health Case Competition is a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary teams of students to collaboratively analyze a real-world global health challenge with the goal of providing helpful strategic recommendations to move the case subject forward efficiently and effectively. Teams of four to six students present their recommendations to an expert panel of judges.

The winning team from the University of Minnesota will go on to compete at the International Global Health Case Competition at Emory University in March:
