Mar 23 Fee Waived for "Becoming Aware of Your Own Culture"

Part of the ISSS Intercultural Workshop Series

Understanding your own culture and beliefs is an essential step for building intercultural competency and learning how to effectively work with international students. ISSS's Becoming Aware of Your Own Culture workshop will help you do that.

Date and Time: Thursday, March 23, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Location: Heller Hall, Room 1210

In this interactive workshop, you will be challenged to uncover aspects of your own culture and how these shape your perception of the world. You will also learn to identify relevant cultural differences between yourself and others, making it easier for you to take actionable steps to create bridges between cultures throughout the University of Minnesota.
