The announcement to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals by March 5 is the latest upheaval to our national immigration policies.

Under the new administration, "extreme vetting" for visas is now allowed and aggressive immigration enforcement is causing huge court backlogs. Several legal challenges to executive orders, including the travel ban, are moving through the courts. Customs and Border Protection says it can search electronic devices, including mobile phones and laptops, at points of entry; and local governments are facing pressure to engage in federal immigration enforcement.

To provide perspective, leaders from the Immigration Response Team, International Student and Scholar Services, Student Legal Services, and the James H. Binger Center for New Americans will share their thoughts on the current situation and how it affects immigrants and international students and scholars.
