The following is a message from the Global Ties U.S. Board Governance and Search Committees Chair regarding a job opening in the organization:

"Dear Colleagues:

As Chair of the Global Ties U.S. Board Governance and Search Committees, I am pleased to let you know that we have opened a national search to fill the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Ties U.S.

As you know, Jennifer Clinton, Ph.D. will step down from the role at the end of October 2017 to join Cultural Vistas as President and CEO. We wish her the best of luck in her new endeavor.

The Board seeks an experienced and visionary leader with demonstrated experience in the fields of international exchange, public diplomacy and non-profit network management.

The President and CEO, who heads both Global Ties U.S. and the Global Ties Foundation, the charitable arm of Global Ties U.S., leads a professional staff of 17 and manages an annual budget of approximately $9.5 million.

The Board of Directors feels confident that the organization and staff are on very solid financial and operational footing that will carry them through this transition.

The Board is making all the necessary provisions to support the organization during the executive search process to ensure that Global Ties U.S. continues to serve its members with the high quality services the Network has come to expect from us.

The Search Committee includes representatives from the Global Ties Network, Advisory Council, as well as the Global Ties U.S. and Global Ties Foundation Boards.

The full position announcement with application instructions can be found here. We encourage you to share this announcement with your colleagues and contacts who may recommend great candidates.
