The Center for Victims of Torture is hiring a Program Evaluation Specialist to be responsible for coordinating and implementing components of CVT’s program evaluation and research initiatives for U.S.-based programs. This position supports the Research department in the collection, storage, analysis and reporting of client and program information. The Program Evaluation Specialist will collaborate with program managers and clinical leadership. The position will assist in using knowledge gained through evaluation and research for program design and program development and to advance knowledge in the field. This position is based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of a Master’s degree in Program Evaluation, Psychology, Sociology or related field in the social sciences (with a strong emphasis on research, statistics and/or program evaluation) and at least three years of program evaluation experience in an applied setting. Among other skills and experience, applicants should have the ability to implement a range of quantitative program evaluation methods, be experienced in statistical analysis and be able to use statistical software such as SPSS, R or SAS.
