Nobel Peace Prize Forum Minneapolis will celebrate Colombia's Juan Manuel Santos & ICAN, Sept 2018

We hope you will consider joining us this fall to celebrate the 30th annual Forum, on the theme of The Paradox of Peace. As always, the Forum, hosted by Augsburg University, will include an amazing gathering of speakers and in-depth content over its three days. We aim to repeat the successes achieved in 2017, and encourage you all to engage and participate with these amazing speakers to learn, to be inspired, to take action!

This year, the achievements of two Nobel Peace Prize laureates will be honored and celebrated: Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos and the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). The program will explore the tensions between conflict and reconciliation, justice and forgiveness, hope and fear—paradoxes both laureates have successfully navigated over the last few years. Additional information about our laureates can be found below.
