This September, Ambassador of Sweden Karin Olofsdotter will travel to Minnesota for a free public presentation on the opportunities and challenges for foreign policy and diplomacy between Sweden, the EU, and U.S.
Before her assignment to Washington, D.C., Ambassador Olofsdotter served as the Director-General for Trade at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Sweden and Deputy Director-General and Head of the Department for Promotion of Sweden, Trade, and CSR in Stockholm. She also served as ambassador in Budapest, Hungary, and in the Swedish embassies in the U.S. and Russia, as well as in the Mission of Sweden to NATO and the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU in Brussels.
