Projects sought for Humphrey School's global capstone course

Global Policy/Human Rights/Development Practice Capstone RFP

Robert Kudrle, Dave Wilsey, and I will once again be collaborating in running integrated global policy, human rights, and development practice capstone sections for the 2018-2019 academic year. We seek projects that fall into any or all of these three fields and then organize three to five students, generally from the MPP, MHR, and MDP degree programs--and sometimes from other degrees as well.

If you know of an organization that might be interested in working with us, please forward them the RFP (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99ebkG0WZZQaTBuR1VEbzRVZnZYZjZ3ZGZ5djJ1UWlWMjl3/view?usp=sharing). The best projects are those which can fully engage the students and which involve work that the client organization really wants done and which are more or less stand alone projects on which the students can work as a team.

The bulk of the work is done in the Spring 2019 semester, but we want to have proposals in hand by the first week of September so that we can vet them and then begin organizing students into teams.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Dave, Bob, or I are also happy to talk to contacts of yours in organizations who might be interested but are unsure of how to proceed.
