The N’Zarama Centre for Peacebuilding (NCP) is a non-profit organization established in 2017. The main aim of NCP is to build peace in divided societies across Africa through women and youth empowerment programs. NCP is headquartered in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

NCP is currently recruiting graduate student interns to be a part of an exciting, innovative organization that seeks to empower women and young people to fully realize their potential. Applications from graduate students in any social science field are welcome. NCP is a bi-lingual organization and welcomes English and French speaking applicants (English and French and the two official languages of NCP).

Interns will work under the supervision of the Executive Director assisting with several activities including research, resource mobilization, strategy development, policy development and developing training materials.

To apply for an internship

  • Submit a 1000-word writing sample on a subject related to peace, conflict and or development, which adheres to academic style and referencing guidelines
The duration of the internship is generally 3-6 months. Interested interns can request up to 12 months. All internships are based on the interests of NCP and the personal interests of the intern.
