MDP Mbaye profiled in UMN Judd Fellowship news

crossposted from News from The Judd: “The team has completed all the needed interviews in the two identified regions and is currently drafting the reports. We have identified several reasons why households are reluctant to use the filters and have compiled a set of recommendations that would help the program identify ways to reach its sought-out objectives.”

Seyni Mbaye is evaluating the adequacy of BioSand filter systems, from the perspective of the users. His team’s evaluation will contribute to the decision whether to distribute this technology.

Funding for the fellowships is provided by a generous gift from the Walter H. Judd Fund of The Minneapolis Foundation and additional funds from the University's Global Programs and Strategy Alliance. The Judd Fellowship program is proud to also be supported by individual donors, whose generosity has helped to increase the size and number of fellowships.
