Iraqi Voices Screening, Discussion & Tea Oct 25

Iraqi Voices Screening, Discussion, and Tea Thursday, October 25; 6:00 - 7:30 pm at the Iraqi American Reconciliation Project
MINN invites you to an event featuring the Iraqi Voices short documentary films and the filmmakers. The films were written and directed by Iraqi-Minnesotan refugees and immigrants though the Iraqi Voices mentorship program, an art lab that provides opportunities and skills to share stories through art. The goal of the documentaries are to break negative stereotypes, build a foundation of mutual understanding and respect and to create an open dialogue that leads to rebuilding relationships and Iraq.

Special thanks to the Iraqi American Reconciliation Project for hosting. IARP is located at 2021 East Hennepin Avenue Suite #200, Minneapolis MN. The screening will be held in the lower level conference room. Tea and an engaging discussion with the filmmakers to follow!

Tickets are available to the general public for $10 and available to MINN members at no cost. Proceeds will go to support the programming of both MINN and IARP. Seating is limited so please reserve your tickets ahead of time.
