MPP Paida Chikate receives 2016 Mestenhauser Student Award for Excellence in Campus Internationalization

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Paidamoyo Chikate has been selected as a recipient of the Mestenhauser Student Award for Excellence in Campus Internationalization. The nomination review committee was impressed by her outstanding contributions to internationalizing the University of Minnesota. We are delighted to name her as one of the recipients of this student award that honors Josef Mestenhauser’s legacy of broadening international understanding.

We are planning an award ceremony to accept the award and celebrate with the University of Minnesota community; on the afternoon of February 12, 2016 from 4:30-6:00.

We congratulate Ms. Chikate on her achievements and look forward to honoring her hard work and dedication to international education.

Mestenhauser Student Award for Excellence in Campus Internationalization

The Josef Mestenhauser Student Award for Excellence in Campus Internationalization recognizes outstanding student contributions to international education. This award acknowledges important work being done by students at the University of Minnesota to internationalize the curriculum and campus.

The Mestenhauser Student Award honors Dr. Josef Mestenhauser, Distinguished International Emeritus Professor, recognizing his long career of advocacy for and commitment to students.
