Organization Summary:
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits is a private, non-profit international development organization working in close partnership with local people. Under community leaders' direction they mobilize teams of short-term volunteers to help deliver essential services to children and to teach conversational English to students of all ages.

Duties:
  1. Prepare volunteers to serve on Global Volunteers service programs. 
  2. Manage the volunteer preparation process from the time volunteers’ applications are accepted until volunteers depart from their home city for the service program. 
  3. Administer the post service program reporting and evaluation process. 
  4. Analyze and evaluate service programs and offer suggestions for improvement. 
  5. Help create an environment for success among hosts, community partners, local people, country managers, team leaders, volunteers and co-workers in order to fulfill Global Volunteers’ mission. 
  6. Assist the Finance Department with bookkeeping functions related to service program.
