MDP alum De Mel is Princeton Africa Fellow in S. Africa

Randika Lawson De Mel (MDP'15) has been accepted to be a 2016-17 Princeton Africa Fellow in South Africa. "Princeton in Africa seeks to develop young leaders committed to Africa's advancement." He will be working in the Sustainable Health Financing Team at Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in Pretoria, South Africa.

Randika De Mel would like to thank his family, close friends, Dr. Sherry Gray, and Martha Krohn, and Dr.  Ragui Assaad from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs for all their support and guidance during the fellowship process.

During his fellowship, Randika looks forward to using his skills and knowledge to contribute to strengthening the public health system in South Africa, to be part of a new culture and community, and to exploring the African Continent.
