HHH Daniel Chen on Schwarzman Scholars review committee

Associate Director of Admissions, Dan Cheng, has been selected to serve as an application reader for the inaugural class of Schwarzman Scholars.  Established by Steve Schwarzman in collaboration with Tsinghua University in Beijing, one of the top academic institutions in China, the program has received support from both President Barack Obama and President Xi Jinping of China.  The Schwarzman Scholars program is designed to prepare future leaders to address the challenges of the 21st century and to foster greater understanding of China and its emerging role in the world.  Dan will join a selected group of experienced reading panelists to help review the 10,000+ applications from around the world to identify 300 students to be interviewed, which will result in the selection of an inaugural cohort of 100 students to pursue this fully-funded one-year Master's degree at Schwarzman College at the Tsinghua campus.  More information on the Schwarzman Scholars program can be found here: http://schwarzmanscholars.org/.
